Robin's story
Hi! Im Robin, a two-year-old girl from North Carolina. I tend to curl up a lot, which tends to frustrate people who try to take my picturebut they tell me Im very pretty, with my glossy black fur and white tuxedo. I was dropped off on the back porch of a NC SPCA with my 4 kittens. I had my paws full for a while, taking care of them and of a couple that I adopted after they lost their Mom. I was also busy getting treated for all the usual bugs that pester street cats. Im now bug-free, healthy, and ready to move on to a new home.
Im still adjusting to all the big changes in my life and learning about life with people. I know how lucky I am to be indoors with food, comfy places to sleep, and someone to take care of me. After a few weeks, Im getting the hang of sitting on laps and being petted just for fun. Im starting to get interested in soft toys. Sometimes I still like to curl up in my igloo, but Im getting more sociable day by day as I learn to relax, and Ill engage in chirpy conversation with visitors. (I guess chirping makes sense for a cat named after a bird!) I like meeting new cats, and will follow them around looking for tips on how to be a family cat.
